944,848. Wash basins. SHANKS & CO. Ltd. Jan 15, 1962 [Nov. 11, 1960], No. 38823/60. Headings A4B and A4N. [Also in Division F2] Formed in the casting of a vitreous china wash basin 1 of conventional construction are two pairs of holes 2 and 2<SP>1</SP> which align with corresponding holes in a supporting bracket 3 having holes 5 to permit a bolting attachment to the wall. The bracket 3 is secured to the basin 1 by means of bolts 6 which are provided with elastically deformable sleeves 9 compressed axially between the bolt-head and nut 8 so as to expand radially and grip the walls of the holes 2 and 2<SP>1</SP>.
