Abstract

944,472. Artificial trees &c. T. HELLRICH. March 8, 1960 [May 8, 1959], No. 8106/60. Heading A4X. An artificial tree with branches 9 made of wire each having an end portion 8 bent at an angle and secured to the tree trunk by a sleeve 5 has the trunk divided into sections such as 3, 4 having reduced ends 6 forming spigots which are inserted into the sleeve 5 to connect them. The branch ends 8 may be secured in the sleeve by a plug 10, by a screwplug 14 and socket 12, Fig. 14 or by soldering to the outside of sleeve 5.
