944,369. Primary cells. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. July 4, 1962 [July 7, 1961], No. 25658/62. Heading H1B. An electric cell uses as depolarizer mercuric diammine chloride. The anode may -be of zinc with a carbon cathode. The electrolyte may be an aqueous solution of zinc chloride or ammonium chloride but it is preferred to use the latter in concentrated ammonia solution, which may form the sole electrolyte.
