Abstract

943,446. Filing papers. TRADE LOOSE LEAF CO. Ltd. Oct. 25, 1962 [Oct. 27, 1961], No. 38449/61. Heading B6E. In a loose leaf binder wherein perforated leaves are filed on a pair of flexible strips, the strips 12 are of plastic material and each has a series of open slots 17 which are enlarged at their inner ends, whereby the two strips can be brought together edge to edge and two opposed slots can be interengaged to hold the two strips detachably together. As shown, the two filing strips 12 are formed from a single length of material which is threaded through slots 14 in the fold 11 of a binder 10, and the two sets of slots 17 are opposed. If desired, a presser bar 20 made from the same material as the strips 12 may be provided, and the strips 12 then pass through the larger parts of key-hole slots 21 in the bar. Each strip 12 is then slid along the key-hole slot so that a slot 17 in the strip engages the narrower part of the key-hole slot 21 and looks the bar 20 in position on the filed papers.
