Abstract

Solid particulate NaNO3 has incorporated therein a minor proportion by weight of soda ash to reduce its caking tendency. A suitable amount is 0.2-5%. The soda ash is preferably in powder form e.g. small crystals whilst the NaNO3 may be as small crystals granular or crushed pellet form.
