Nylon tyre cords are coated with a nylon-to-rubber bonding agent, hot stretched, and wound on a beam for storage. In order that the greater exposure to atmosphere of the cords at the ends of the roll shall not cause them to shrink more than the others, they are made of nylon have a smaller tendency to shrink.
