941,072. Inflatable cushions. G. Q. PARACHUTE CO. Ltd. Jan. 23, 1962 [Oct. 24, 1960], No. 36401/60. Heading A4M. An inflatable aircraft seat cushion 1 is such that the whole of its top is raised on inflation, the rear portion being raised more than and above the front edge of the top thereby to assist the occupant to a standing position. The cushion is inflated from a gas bottle by manual operation of a handle 6 and lanyard 7. The inflatable bladder 2 includes a pressure relief valve 8 and is secured at its corners to a flexible cover 3 having a closable access aperture 4 and an eyelet strap 9 for fixing to a seat.
