A rotary sanding tool comprises a disc 1 of hard rubber, a disc 2 of foam rubber, a disc 3 of soft rubber, and a disc 4 of paper or linen, the diameters of the discs 2, 3 being greater than that of the disc 1 and the diameter of the disc 4 being less than that of the disc 3. The three rubber discs are fixedly united and the disc 4, which may be of abrasive paper, is preferably fixed to the disc 3 by a self-adhesive non- drying adhesive to permit its rapid replacement. Holes d in the hard rubber disc 1 are arranged to be engaged by projections D of rather larger size in a driver 5.
