937,312. Silencers for gaseous currents. FURNESS & JONES Ltd. March 13, 1962 [May 19, 1961], No. 18264/61. Class 7(2). [Also in Group XXVIII] In a suction device comprising a compressed air operated ejector and a suction pipe mounted on a body portion which forms an airtight cover to a receiver, the ejector is surrounded by a sound muffler, comprising a layer of glass fibre 41 packed between perforated sheet metal walls 40. The whole ejector system is encased in a sheet metal cover with perforations for the exhaust air to escape.
