935,449. Scrubbing and polishing pads. CARBORUNDUM CO. July 24, 1962 [Aug. 10, 1961], No. 28474/62. Addition to 919,634. Class 19. In a combined scrubbing and polishing pad individual curled animal hairs are randomly arranged and banded together at their intersections by a thermoset resin and a cured elastomer; the resin penetrating a portion 17 of the thickness to form a stiff scrubbing surface 18 and the cured elastomer penetrating at least the remaining thickness 19 to form a flexible polishing surface 20.
