[Also in Group XIII] A flexible foot for a spin drier 1 comprises a tubular boss 4 of rubber with a metal cap bonded thereto which has an aperture 6 for bolting to the drier, the boss merging into a rubber flange 8 of inverted cup shape which has an aperture 11 to open the interior of the cup to atmosphere to prevent any suction cup effect. The aperture 11 may be replaced by forming the cup with a discontinuous rim, or with a recess or opening in the rim.
