Abstract

A household appliance having support legs includes a case body (2) and a plurality of support legs (4) mounted on a bottom portion of the case body. Each support leg (4) is disposed with a support portion (7) made of an elastic material, and the support portion includes a bot tom portion (8), where the bottom portion (8) is of a concave camber surface structure and is disposed with a groove (16a, 16b). When the support legs (4) support the case body (2) of the household appliance on a placement surface, a periphery of the bottom portion (8) con tacts with the placement surface annularly and generates elastic deformation due to pressure, then suction exists between the support legs and the placement surface, thereby increasing friction between the support legs and the placement surface, enhancing support stability of the support legs on the placement surface and avoiding or de creasing displacement of the household appliance generated due to vibration during working process.

Description

HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE HAVING SUPPORT LEGS
The present invention relates to support legs of a household appliance, where the household appliance includes a case body and a plurality of support legs mounted on a bottom portion of the case body, and each support leg is disposed with a support portion made of an elastic material.
Generally, a household appliance includes a case body and further includes support legs which support the case body on the floor or surfaces of other substances. For some household appliances which are easy to generate vibration during working process such as a washing device, a drying device or a washing & drying device, the support legs are easy to move on the floor or other support surfaces, thereby influencing use of the appliances. In consideration of the above problem, one object of the present invention is to provide a household appliance which is placed steadily and is never easy to generate displacement during use.
In order to implement the foregoing object, the present invention is implemented as defined in the independent claim. Preferred embodiments of the invention are subjects of dependent claims, the subsequent disclosure and the attached drawing.
In order to implement the foregoing object, the present invention is implemented through the following manner: a household appliance having support legs includes a case body and a plurality of support legs mounted on a bottom portion of the case body, where each support leg is disposed with a support portion made of an elastic material, and the support portion includes a bottom portion, where the bottom portion is of a concave cambered surface structure and is disposed with a groove. The foregoing household appliance has the following advantages. The cambered bottom portion of the support portion made of the elastic material forms a structure of a sucked type, so that when the support legs support the case body of the household appliance on a placement surface, a periphery of the bottom portion contacts with the place- ment surface annularly and generates elastic deformation due to pressure, then suction exists between the support legs and the placement surface, thereby increasing friction between the support legs and the placement surface, enhancing support stability of the support legs on the placement surface and avoiding or decreasing displacement of the household appliance generated due to vibration during working process. More importantly, the bottom portion is disposed with the groove, which interrupts integrity of the bottom portion of the elastic support portion, and enhances tensile performance and elastic performance of the bottom portion, so as to be conducive to decrease the displacement and the vibration of the household appliance during working process.
As one of the improvements of the present invention, the groove is of a camber structure centering on an axis of the support portion.
As another improvement of the present invention, the groove includes at least two separated segments with the same radius. When assembling in a production line, an assembling tool can stick into the groove and directly rotate and assemble the support legs.
As a further improvement of the present invention, the groove segments are circumferentially and evenly distributed.
As yet another improvement of the present invention, a radius of the groove is between 1/3 and 1/2 of a bottom radius of the support portion. The groove in the radius range can work better. If the radius of the groove is greater than the range, the contact between the bottom portion and the placement surface is thinner, which on the contrary may weaken anti-vibration and anti-displacement functions of the support legs; if the radius of the of the groove is smaller than the range, the groove plays a minor role in enhancing the tensile performance and the elastic performance of the bottom portion of the support portion, which also can not achieve a good expected effect.
As yet a further improvement of the present invention, the household appliance is a washing device and/or a drying device. The present invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description with reference to the attached drawing given herein below for illustration only, and thus are not limitative of the present invention. In the drawing,
FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a washing device;
FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of support legs of the washing device in FIG. 1 ; and
FIG. 3 is a bottom view of the support legs in FIG. 2.
As shown in FIG. 1 , a washing device 1 includes a case body 2. A bottom portion 3 of the case body 2 is disposed with four support legs 4. The case body 2 of the washing device 1 is supported on a placement surface 5 via the support legs 4.
As shown in FIG. 2, the support legs 4 include a leg portion 6 and a support portion 7 made of an elastic material. The support portion 7 is supported on the placement surface 5 via its bottom portion 8. The bottom portion 8 has a bottom surface 10 which is of a concave camber surface structure. An outer edge 12 of the bottom surface 10 lies on the same plane, so when the support legs 4 are placed on the placement surface 5, a sealed space 14 is formed between the concave bottom surface 10 and the placement surface 5.
As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, the bottom surface 10 is disposed with a pair of grooves 16a and 16b. The pair of grooves 16a and 16b has the same radius, and is of a camber structure respectively and centers on an axis 17 of the support portion 7. Intervals 18a and 18b between the two grooves 16a and 16b are the same. During production and assembly, a head of the assembling tool can stick into the grooves 16a and 16b and directly rotate and assemble the support legs 4.
In other embodiments which are not shown in the accompanying drawings, the bottom surface 10 can be disposed with one groove or more than two grooves. When there is only one groove, preferably, the groove is of an annular structure and centers on an axis 17 of the support portion 7. When there are more than 3 grooves, preferably, the grooves are circumferentially and evenly distributed. The radius r of the grooves 16a and 16b is between 1/3 and 1/2 of a bottom radius R of the bottom portion 8 of the support portion 7.
Detailed above is the description of one embodiment of the present invention with an example of a washing device. However, the present invention is also applicable to other household appliances, and in particular to the household appliance s which are easy to generate vibration during working process and thereby are placed unsteadily such as a washing device and/or a drying device. The above embodiments are merely preferred embodiments of the present invention.
The present invention may have many other embodiments. Any equivalent replacement made by persons of ordinary skill in the art shall fall within the scope of the present invention.
