933,983. Desks. A. G. THORNTON Ltd. May 16, 1962 [May 16, 1961; Jan. 8, 1962], Nos. 17731/61 and 629/62. Class 62 (3). A desk top 15 with a plane surface and a drawing board assembly secured to its underside fits within aperture 14 formed by upper surfaces 13 of the frame, and may be pivotally inverted to present the drawing board 17 which is hinged to base 16 and which has support 18 hinged to its underside to engage in notches 19 in the base. The desk top pivots and the catches provided to secure the desk top in its two positions are not shown. In an alternative form, the top 15 provides the entire surface of the desk and is pivoted between two plates, connected to bushes sliding on two tubes each secured to a side member 12.
