Abstract

A moss-controlling composition contains as active ingredient a compound selected from the group consisting of salts of dihydrazine sulphate, e.g. copper or mercuric dihydrazine sulphate and salts of fluosilicic acid, e.g. silicofluoride, together with a solid carrier selected from lawn sands and fertilizers. The carrier may be a solid fertilizer, e.g. 2 : 4 : D or 2 : 4 : T containing a herbicide. There may also be included agricultural chemicals, for example herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and the like, and/or adjuvants such as wetters, stickers and the like.
