An agricultural or horticultural fungicidal composition comprises at least one compound represented by the general formula wherein R represents wherein X is H or an alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group, and a powdered carrier, a wetting agent with a powdered carrier, a binder with a powdered carrier or a solvent with an emulsifier. The composition may be used for treating crops such as rice and may also contain at least one other fungicide, insecticide, herbicide or fertilizer such as blasticidin-S; o,o-dimethyl-o- (3-methyl-4-nitrophenyl) phosphorothioate; 0,0- diethyl-S-benzylphosphorothioate and iron methyl-arsonate. Many other active compounds are also specified.
