Abstract

932,166. Stands. W. B. RUSSELL. Sept. 22, 1961 [Oct. 20, 1960], No. 36042/60. Class 52 (3). In a dismountable wire stand, a number of coplanar sets of vertically connected arms 12 radiate from a central pillar 23 and each ring of arms supports a circular tray 14 (Fig. 4). The lower parts 13 of arms 12 are each welded to wires 11 at a loop 20 in which loose metal rings 22 lie. When the stand is assembled by inserting pillar 23 in the rings 22, loops 20 enter axial grooves 24 and arms 12 are prevented from pivoting by the engagement of end wires in radiating grooves in end caps 25, 26. Trays 14 are formed in two semicircular sections joined by hooks 33 and eyes 31, 32.
