931,887. Camera objective fitting. CARL ZEISS-STIFTUNG, and A. H. LOMB, [trading as COMPUR - WERK FRIEDRICH DECKEL OHG]. Nov. 8, 1961 [March 23, 1961], No. 40040/61. Class 98 (1). A bayonet coupling is provided for fitting exchangeable objectives to a camera body, in which one of the co-operating surfaces of the objective and body is provided with a thin layer of plastic material to reduce friction between the surfaces. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 3, an objective mount 1 is provided with an adaptor tube 2 which engages by means of lugs 3, with inclined surfaces 5, corresponding bayonet projections 4 in the camera body. Surfaces 12, 14 of the objective mount projection tube 7 and camera body respectively are pressed together by means of springs 10. Surface 12 is provided with a plastic layer 13.
