Abstract
927,464. Clocks and watches. PARECHOC S.A. Sept. 7, 1961 [Sept. 10, 1960], No. 32098/61. Class 139. A timepiece regulating mechanism comprises a balance spring regulator which is subject to the action of a control element which is resilient or resiliently loaded and deformed by an adjusting element to move the regulator. In the first example, Fig. 1, the regulator 11 has a lug 11b which is embraced by the forked end of a resilient control element 13 the other end of which is fixed to the stud holder 3 by a screw 14. The element 13 may be flexed by an adjustment screw 14 to move the regulator 11 for fine adjustment. The regulator is located on the stud holder by two inwardly-directed lugs 11c. A spring 7 fixed by two screws 8 holds the stud 4 in a V-shaped notch 6 in the stud holder 3 whereby adjustment of the screws 8 will rotate the stud 4. In a second example, Fig. 5, the resilient control element 18, which is fixed by screws 23, 24, is notched at its free end 18a to engage the serrated arc 27a of the lug 19a of the regulator 19. In the third example, Fig. 9, the stud 29 is held by a resilient member 30 which is fixed by two conically-headed screws 31. The regulator control element 32 has, at one end, a hole which receives the head of the adjacent screw 31. In the fourth example, Fig. 13, the regulator control element 39 also serves to hold the stud 41 in the V-shaped notch of the stud holder. The semicircular regulator 40 is located by an inner projection 40a and by an adjustable eccentric 44. In the fifth example, Fig. 16, the regulator control element 48 has at one end, a lug which fits into a hole 50 in the balance cock 47 and at its other end carries a spool member 51 which engages the serrations 52 of the regulator 49. In the last example, Fig. 20, the regulator control element 61 is rigid and is pivotally mounted on the head of a screw 65 which screws into the lug ,66a of the stud holder 66. The regulating element 61 is loaded by an arcuate spring member 67.
