Abstract
927,016. Roller-type screens. HUNTER DOUGLAS INTERNATIONAL (QUEBEC) Ltd. April 4, 1961, No. 12083/61. Class 20 (3). [Also in Group XIV] A housing for a roller-type flyscreen comprises an opened rectangular section, preferably aluminium, box, Fig. 2, the adjacent edges of two adjacent sides 14, 15 having inwardlyrolled beads 11 to define a mouth 12 for the passage of the screen and a closure, preferably nylon, plate 13, Fig. 5, for each end of the box having projecting lugs 19-24 for entering the end of the box with appropriate lugs 19, 20 or 23, 24, entering the ends of the beads 11. Strengthening ribs 17 on the box and a boss 25, Fig. 5, for the roller journal are provided. The housing is supported at each end by a boxbracket, Fig. 3, comprising a base-plate 27 with fixed flanges 28, 29 from two adjacent sides, the free corners 35 of the base being upset to accommodate two feet 32, 34, Fig. 7, extending from a facia plate 31 and an intermediate foot 33 on the facia plate overlies the inner face of the base 27. Holes 36 accommodate screws &c. for mounting the bracket, some of which holes are in the depressed ribs 37. The mounting brackets may each be provided with three flanges in an alternative construction.
