Abstract
926,936. Lamp caps and holders. THORN ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Aug. 8, 1960, No. 27450/60. Class 38 (1). Figs. 1 and 2 show a two-socket connector, for use with fluorescent lamps having two-pin terminal members, wherein the pins may be various distances from one another, which consists of socket members 13, 14, fixed to the cable cones 17, 18 and embedded in a V-shaped moulding 10, of rubber, P.V.C. or other flexible insulating material, having flexible limbs 11, 12, the distance between the socket members being variable by flexing one or both of the limbs. During the moulding process inserts 19 (Fig. 3, not shown) are placed in the socket members to stop penetration therein of the moulding material. Specification 850,841 is referred to.
