Abstract

Male connector for one or more pins, permits a certain flexibility by arranging for each such pin to be drilled out to take a further tapered pin to which the electrical connection is made. Such pins may also be drilled out and partially cut along their length to give a sprung contact when mated with a socket. The secondary pins are set in a moulding having side flanges or finger grips to allow them to be push fitted into the mating pins proper. The cable leads can be brought into the interior of the plug by various orthodox means including through a moulding leading to the level of the main pins.
