Abstract

The invention comprises compounds of the formula: R2NCS.S.CSNHCH2CH2NHCS.S.CS.NR2 where R is alkyl, and their preparation by reacting R2NCS.Cl with HSSCNHCH2CH2 NHCSSH or a salt thereof. Examples prepare compounds in which R is methyl, ethyl or butyl. The compounds of the invention are fungicides (see Group VI). Specification 848,430 is referred to.ALSO:The invention comprises fungicidal compositions containing a compound of formula R2NCS.S.CSNHCH2CH2NHCS.S.CS.NR2 where R is alkyl (see Group IV (b)), in admixture with a solid and/or liquid carrier. The compositions may be a solution of the compound in a solvent, with or without adhesives, wetting agents, emulsifiers and/or dispersing agents. Specification 848,430 is referred to.
