925,785. Sliding door brackets. E. HILL ALDAM & CO. Ltd. Feb. 2, 1962, No. 4176/62. Class 52 (5). A bracket for supporting track for sliding doors has two limbs 4 and 6 whose free ends are spaced apart to receive the roller assembly contained in a track, and whose upper extensions are welded together to form a flange 8 bent over at the top to form a lip 10, and having a slot 12. Mounted between the head of bolt 20 and flange 8 is a double cam comprising a restraining cam 30 contacting the surface 11, and a loadbearing cam 28 contacting the underside of lip 10. The cams are arranged so that the diameter through the above two points of contact is of constant length, and as the cam is rotated the spacing of bolt 20 and lip 10 is varied.
