Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of general formula <FORM:0925568/IV(a)/1> in which R1 and R2 are hydrogen or halogen atoms or trifluoromethyl or C1-C6 alkyl or alkoxy radicals, X is an oxygen or sulphur atoms, Y is a straight chained alkylene residue and Z is a residue of formula -NR3R4 in which R3 and R4 are alkyl radicals or with the N atom form the residue of a heterocyclic ring; and acid addition salts thereof; and processes for their preparation wherein (1) a compound <FORM:0925568/IV(a)/2> is reacted in an organic solvent with a compound R2-C6H4-Mg-Hal (Hal being a halogen atom), or (2) a compound <FORM:0925568/IV(a)/3> (R1 being the residue of a suitable alcohol) is reacted in an organic solvent with twice the molar amount of a compound R-C6H4-Mg-Hal (R being as R1 and R2), the resulting adduct in either case being finally hydrolysed.
