[Also in Group XXXV] In a fluid-pressure operated switch for use in an automatic electric control system (see Group XXXV) a bellows capsule 142 is responsive to the difference between an internal pressure applied through a pipe 149 and an external pressure applied to a chamber 144 through a pipe 147 to position a wedge-shaped actuator 175. At a predetermined pressure difference the actuator is positioned so that the contacts of switches 151, 152, actuated by push-rods 177, 179 are open. Expansion of the bellows causes the actuator to move upwards and switch 151 to close, downward movement of the actuator closes switch 152.
