Abstract
919,839. Metal sheeting. BRONZAVIA. Nov. 18, 1959 [Nov. 22, 1958], No.39103/59. Class 20 (2). A composite sheet, especially for fireproof partitions in aircraft, comprises a light alloy or aluminium sheet 1, thickness 1 mm., riveted at 4 to a stainless steel sheet 2, thickness <SP>1</SP>/ 10 mm.; the sheet 2 having flutings 3 the apices of which are in contact with sheet 1. Incidence of a flame F upon the sheet 2 causes it to separate, except at the rivets 4, from the sheet 1. In a modification, the sheet 2 is slightly curved.
