Abstract

917,386. Agricultural implements. CHAFER Ltd., J. W. Nov. 23, 1961 [May 12, 1961], No. 17352/61. Class 6(1). An implement 1 is supported on a beam 2 disposed transversely between the wheels of a tractor and adapted to be rotated by a hydraulic ram 5 or a screw and crank device. The implement is attached to the beam by a V-shaped member so that it is adjustable lengthwise of the beam and also vertically. The blade of the implement is detachably secured to the shank by bolts 35. A tube 38, Fig. 5, is connected to the blade for distributing fertiliser or insecticide from a manifold on the tractor. In the embodiment of Fig. 8 the beam is hollow and is used for distributing fertiliser to a tube 51.
