A ditch-cleaning assembly for mounting on a tractor consists of a scoop 18 pivotally mounted between the forked end of a beam 19 pivotally secured at 20 to a boom 16 that is telescopically received in and locked to a vertically swingable tubular arm 12 pivotally mounted in a subframe secured to a tractor. The arm 12 can be swung about an axis longitudinal of the tractor by a ram 13. Rams 29 and 26 control movement of the beam 19 and scoop 18 relative to the boom 16 and beam 19 respectively.
