916,922. Photographic exposure of sensitized cylinders. BEKK & KAULEN, CHEMISCHE FABRIK G.m.b.H. Sept. 1, 1960 [Nov. 28, 1959], No. 30222/60. Class 98 (2). [Also in Group XXX] As a process the sensitized cylinders are conveyed while in a state of rotation past a stationary light source, feed to and from the conveyer being by automatic means. A reference to the stretching of a copy-pattern over the sensitized periphery is included in the Specification. As shown, cylinders 11 with spindles 10 are introduced from transport block 13 to be picked up by bearing-blocks 8 on links 7 of driven chain 6 and conveyed leftward under light sources 21 to further transport block 13a for removal while being rotated by result of toothed wheels 18 on spindles 10 engaging a chain 19 above chain 6 and effectively driven in the reverse direction to chain 6.
