Abstract

914,373. Hydraulic machines. RICHIER, S. A. Aug. 26, 1960 [Aug. 31, 1959], No. 29560/60. Class 69 (2). An hydraulic motor comprises two doubleacting cylinder/piston units 1, 2, of which the outer ends of the cylinders and piston respect tively are pivoted on fixed points 6 and a motor shaft crank-pin 8, and a cam 12, secured on the motor shaft to control the slide valves 10, 11 of two distributers 3, 4 to the respective units, and shaped to maintain each slide valve in the position to hydraulically lock the relevant unit as the piston clears each of its deadcentre positions, and to unlock the unit only after the shaft has taken up the subsequent longitudinal play on the pivots of the unit. A systematic leakage is provided between the cylinder ends of each unit by using rings as piston packing means.
