A fluid-presure responsive device comprises a flexible disc mounted in a housing, which disc has an integral arm extending radially from its periphery to actuate an electric switch or other device, and is supported about its periphery by a resilient mounting which acts as a fulcrum for the radial arm. As shown, a disc 16 has an arm 19 extending radially from it and is resiliently supported by 0-rings 17, 18, the disc being actuated by the pressure difference existing between the chambers 14, 15. The arm 19 carries a saddle 27 which actuates switches 23, 24. The saddle (Fig. 3) is adjustable on a stud 26 passing through arm 19 and carries two spring-urged plungers 29 which engages in recesses 34 formed about the circumference of adjustable caps 32 on the ends of the stud. Adjustment of these caps sets the operating pressures of the switches. In operation, the disc flexes causing the arm to flex and pivot about the 0-rings and so actuate the switches. In Figs. 6-9 (not shown), the arm is riveted to the edge of the disc and overlies one of its diameters. It actuates one switch only, which switch is adjustable along the length of the arm and towards and away from and perpendicular to the length of the arm to select the operating pressure.
