Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the general formula: <FORM:0911342/IV (b)/1> wherein R1 is a C1-17 alkyl group, R2 and R3 may be the same or different and are C1-5 alkyl groups or R2R3N may be a piperidino or morpholino radical. In the Provisional Specification the group R2R3N in the above general formula may be additionally a pyrrolidino, piperazino or 4-methyl piperazino radical and R1 may also be a phenyl group or a p-dimethylaminophenyl group. Bis - p - dimethylaminobenzophenone semicarbazone is specifically disclosed. p-Dimethylaminopivalo-; -isobutyro-; isovalero-; and -caprophenones; p-diethylaminoproprio-; p-morpholino-aceto and p-piperidinoacetophenones are prepared from the appropriate amino benzene and aliphatic acid. Specification 584,381 is referred to.
