A self-unloading bin on a roof crop harvesting machine is provided with a body 4 adapted to be tipped about an axis 2 by either an hydraulic ram 8 or a winch 3, and an endless conveyer 5 which forms one side of the body and is independently tiltable about axis 2. In operation the conveyer first discharges the material in contact therewith, whereafter the body is tipped to feed further material to the conveyer.
