Abstract

An in-tank type electric pump to be submerged in a liquid in a tank is provided with a DC motor 1 for driving the electric pump, an impeller 9 fixed to a shaft of the motor, and a pump chamber containing the impeller. The chamber is formed by a pump casing 10 and a pump cover 11, at least one of which is made of a vibration-proof aluminium alloy, ie an alloy having an enhanced vibration dam ping capacity compared with other aluminium alloys. <IMAGE>
