910,020. Coated regenerated cellulose sheet. OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORPORATION. Oct. 18, 1960 [Nov. 2, 1959], No. 35725/60. Class 140. A process of forming a transparent flexible wrap comprises preparing a softened regenerated cellulose base sheet, coating one side only of the sheet with a solution of an amino aldehyde resin in an organic solvent, heating the sheet to remove the solvent and thereafter applying a hot extrudate of a hydrophobic film to the coated surface of the sheet. The amino aldehyde resin may be a butylated melamine formaldehyde polymer, or a mixture of butylated melamine-formaldehyde polymers, a butylated ureaformaldehyde polymer, mixed urea-melamine formaldehyde polymer, a triazine formaldehyde polymer, or a mixture of such polymers. The hydrophobic film may be of polyethylene, polypropylene or polyamides. An antibiotic material, e.g. chlorotetracycline hydrochloride, may be deposited on the uncoated surface of the sheet.
