Abstract
<PICT:0908429/III/1> Fig. 1 shows a steamer condenser arrangement in which a plurality of air-cooled surface condenser units 1 (see Group XIII) and reflux condenser units 11 are arranged in banks in gable fashion. Condensate from each bank of condenser units 1 passes into a common conduit 10 and thence to a delivery conduit (direction n) to suitable collecting tanks. Uncondensed steam in the conduit 10 passes to reflux condenser units 11 from which the condensate drains back into the conduit 10. An air exhaust conduit 13 assists also in drawing the steam residues from the units 1 into the reflux units 11.
