Abstract
907,596. Capacitors. SCHICK, W., and STABILITY RADIO COMPONENTS Ltd. Dec. 16, 1960 [Sept. 17, 1959], No. 31770/59. Class 37. A wound capacitor has terminals 2, 3 arranged as shown so that they can be plugged into a printed circuit and is characterized in that the larger terminal, which is in contact with the capacitor body along most of its length; is cranked at 5 to provide a gap 6 subsequently filled with insulating material when an insulating casing 9 is formed by dipping or moulding. In further embodiments part of the terminal is twisted longitudinally (Fig. 2, not shown) or formed into a channel (Fig. 3, not shown) to provide this gap.
