A duct for a bus-bar distribution system such as forms the subject-matter of Specification 905,785, has a hinged door 19, 20, 21, which may be detached when swung into a position intermediate the closed and open positions, and which may not be removed when in the fully open position, the hinge pin 18 then assuming a position in which it cannot be withdrawn from between the jaws 16 and 17, which may be made hook-like (Fig. 5, not shown).
