Abstract

1,147,020. Switchboards; mounting electrical equipment. ENGLISH ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 5 March, 1968 [6 March, 1967], No. 10701/68. Headings H1N and H1R. A panel 16, Fig. 1, carrying electrical or like equipment in a cubicle 11 is slidably mounted on a pivoted carrier 20 so that it may be slidably withdrawn in its own plane from the cubicle and then swung on pivot 22 together with the carrier 20 for ease of access to the equipment. Stop 26 prevents pivoting of the panel 16 until it is fully withdrawn and has a recess 27 to locate and hold the inner edge 18 of the panel in its outer position.
