In a pneumatic proportional plus integral stack type direct or reverse-acting controller, the proportional band adjustment is effected by a doubleacting throttle valve 16 in conduits connected to the diaphragm chambers 13, 14, 15 and 18. Adjustment of the throttle valve 17 determines the integral action time.
