Abstract
903,186. Electric indicating systems. KELVIN & HUGHES Ltd. April 26, 1960 [April 28, 1959], No. 14529/59. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (1). An electrical and a mechanical pressure gauge are jointly coupled to the altimeter of an aircraft, the former acting through a magnetic clutch, whereby the altimeter readings are primarily controlled by the electrical instrument, but when the power supply fails the clutch disengages and the altimeter readings are determined by the mechanical pressuregauge only. Specification 889,594 is referred to.
