Abstract

902,340. Cutting apparatus. GARTEMANN & HOLLMANN, EXPORT-UND FINANZIERUNGSGESELLSCHAFT. Jan. 20, 1961, No. 2411/61. Class 31 (1). In a cutting device for dividing into sections a continuously-guided flattened tube 20 of paper or like material, especially a multi-wall tube, by means of rotatable cutters 6, 7, 8, guided parallel to themselves on a cylinder 13 co-operating with a rotatable grooved carrier 10 guided parallel to itself on a cylinder 14, the cutters, one for a straight cut and the other for a cranked or a straight cut, are mounted diametrically opposite on the cylinder 13 and the rotational paths or times of the cylinders 13, 14 are in the ratio of 1¢ : 1 and the cylinders are disposed at such a distance from the tube 20 that during rotation of the cylinder 14, the carrier 10 acts against the tube and simultaneously engages a cutter of the cylinder 13.
