[Also in Group XXVIII] A condenser comprises two cascades of semi-conductor thermocouples for condensing vapours arranged so that the hot junctions of the first cascade are cooled by the cold junctions of the second cascade while the hot junctions of the second cascade are cooled by a liquid.
