The subject-matter of this Specification is included in Specification 900,771 from which it has been divided but the claims relate to a resistor with a positive temperature coefficient in a certain range, consisting of a ferro-electric perovskite, the Curie temperature of which lies below the upper limit of the range, the greater part of the conductivity being contributed by niobium impurity atoms. The resistors may be used in an unelectroformed state as voltage variable resistors.
