900,437. Clocks and watches. RAYVILLE S. A. Oct. 20, 1960 [Oct. 22, 1959; Oct. 31, 1959], No. 35914/60. Class 139. A timepiece comprises an electric movement 1 within a casing 3, 4 which may be of glass and which is housed in a main body 8 which has a bezel 9 and which is pivoted to a support 21. Air is evacuated from and a neutral gas is introduced into the casing 3, 4 through a tube 5 which is then sealed. The battery or accumulator 14 is located within a recess 13 in the body 8 and support 21 and is connected by leads 16, 17 to terminals 6 and 7. The outer tip of the minute hand which is wholly or partly of magnetic material touches the underside of the casing part 4 below an annular groove 25 which may receive a magnet 23 which can be moved to set the hands.
