[Also in Group XXIII] In the roller-turning apparatus described in the parent Specification a presser roller D<SP>6</SP> mounted between arms D<SP>7</SP> which pivot about the spindle ends of the driving roller D<SP>4</SP>, is provided to maintain alignment of the work roller D<SP>3</SP> during turning. A spacing rod d<SP>8</SP> is fitted between the ends of the arms D<SP>7</SP> remote from the bearings of the presser roller D<SP>4</SP>; depending weights d<SP>7</SP> attached to each arm apply the required pressure between the rollers D<SP>6</SP> and D<SP>3</SP>.
