Abstract

897,774. Picture mounts. HERMANN, H., and HERMANN, W. Jan. 22, 1959 [Jan. 28, 1958], No. 2407/59. Class 11. A method of making groups of two or more photo corners in single or double rows comprises securing a protective cover strip 7b to a backing strip 4b by pressure sensitive adhesive 6 and notching an edge to form corner portions 7<SP>11</SP>. A base strip 1b notched to form corner portions 1<SP>11</SP> has pockets 2 formed over its corners by a strip of preferably transparent foil 2b which is cut out at 2a to form triangular portions 2<SP>1</SP> which are folded round the corners 1<SP>1</SP> and stuck to the rear face. The rear face of the prepared strip 1b is then stuck to the front face of the combined strips 4b, 7b and the strip 1b is severed or perforated between corners at 10 and the strips 4b, 7b may also be cut to form a strip of two or more corners. In a modification the strips are made of double width and are notched on each edge. Specification 771,772 is referred to.
