Class 20(3) A peripheral encasement for a multipane glazing panel is constituted by a first strip 14 of aluminium &c. foil bonded to outer face 10 of the panel 10 to a depth 14a equal to that of the butyl rubber &c. spacer 12, bent over and bonded to the outer edges of the panel and then bent over and bonded to the other outer surface face 11 to a smaller extent than on the face 10 and a second strip 15 in reverse formation bonded to the outer face 11 and to the first strip 14.
