Abstract

895,533. Stud and socket fastenings. F.T. PRODUCTS Ltd. Dec. 15, 1960 [Jan. 8, 1960], No. 819/60: Class 44. In order to fasten a trim-pad 25 to a channel member 22, the trim-pad is provided with holes 26 for receiving snap-engaging fasteners 24 of the kind described in Specification 521,287, the said fasteners being pressed into engagement with clips 24A inserted within the channel member. The clips 24A are each formed from resilient material and comprise a flanged hole 20 to receive a fastener 24, strengthening ribs 17, and two projections 13 for engaging against the wall of the channel and preventing the ready disengagement of the clip 24A from the channel.
