895,110. Gas-fuelled cigarette lighters. BOH ME, G., and BOHME, H., GEORG & HEINRICH, [trading as BOHME METALLWARENFABRIK]. June 30, 1960 [Feb. 24, 1960; May 6, 1960], No. 22880/60. Class 75(3) The size of the flame of a lighter is regulated by a valve rod 12a co-operating with an outlet 14a in a sleeve 7a and operated by a screw 10a screwed into the lower end of the sleeve 7a and having its Head disposed at the bottom of the lighter body. The gas enters the sleeve 7c through a radial channel 16a. The burner nozzle 17a is urged downwardly by spring 24a so that a sealing member 18a on its lover end closes the outlet 14a in the sleeve 7a, but on depressing a finger piece 41a to open the snuffer 6a a pivoted lever 27a lifts the burner nozzle and gas passes through the outlet 14a and through a radial channel 20a to the burner nozzle A gas filling aperture in the reservoir is closed by a spring urged piston 30a.
